im not sure what you mean by what my upload shows on my "mysky" page. it shows nothing about upload. if i click "connection details" i just get sent to their help pages.

all in all its a shoddy service thats aimed at the lowest possible level of service. the limiting upload thing is a particular pain in that their useless staff dont even know that they do it. that they do it in the first place is insane as what can they possibly get out of limiting upload speeds?!?!!??

there is very little in the way of manually setting upload higher ,it can go higher but this is determined by dlm software

down sync is not a reason for dlm setting lower up sync suggest you ask for dlm to be run again saying you have changed something in setup in house

YES!!!!! i know. which part of my saying i dont know why they do this but they limit your upsync profile based on your down sync did you not get? i realise fully that the frequency ranges used mean that the two have no impact on each other, its skys sh.. poo like dlm that does it for some unfathomable reason. no one seems to know why.

Once your DLM period has completed, contact the Broadband Pro team to see if they can increase the upload speed for you.

This is specifically for those who are on the Broadband Pro products.

Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps
Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
      Speedtest: 17.15MB/s 0.97Mb/s Ping 31 ms

so far i havent been able to get one of their idiot staff to acknowledge that unlimited Pro is a product that exists. as im not currently on the Pro product (i joined early) and according to sales, the Pro and non Pro products are the same thing. of course it doesnt help that my sky phone line dosent work and i refuse to pay to call from my mobile.

Re: What's up with O2/BE Migrations?

      Ok, a simple truth...

For the moment Sky Broadband Unlimited Pro is not available to anyone other than those who specifically migrated from Be/O2 with it.

Sky has yet to launch the product officially, so technically they were right not to upgrade you to it.

There are differences and ALL of Sky's staff should know them. They have had various memos sent out and reminders too. So there is no excuse for ignorance as they should have read all these.

Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps
Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB

That's not acceptable on this forum. As Scubbie says, no excuse for their ignorance but also no excuse for you calling them, or anyone else for that matter, idiots. I understand your frustration but please don't vent it here with insults.

Re: What's up with O2/BE Migrations?

im sorry if i have offended, it was certainly not my intention. i did not intend to be insulting but descriptive. as im sure you can understand that their staff, and it was their sales staff i was speaking to, went off and came back so i assume was asking someone about it, to then declare they are the same thing feels like head butting a wall.

as for it being unavailable to non migrated users, that i did not know. still i might have hoped they might have details about upgrading when it does become available.
