      I am not certain but if your 'bebox' is a Thomson TG582/5 then it should be able to connect to Sky broadband, you should have no need to replace it. You will have to reset it to factory default and enter the Sky settings.

      As above, it's not the 585, it's a speed touch 780 from 2007. It has a bridged mode template already which is how I'm using it, but I don't know if that'll suffice or if I need a newer one as the templates linked in the article above are only for 582/5/7.

      If I factory reset it wouldn't it lose the bridged mode template? If so I don't see how it would possibly work with the Asus.

      Bridge mode is a setting in the router, after using the factory reset you would set it up as detailed here - https://www.bethere.co.uk/web/beport...xp_bridge_mode

      It may not work, but it would be better trying it before splashing out on a new modem.
