      Loosing upload speed

      Hello

Every couple of days, my Sky BB Max download speed drops to almost dialup speed. (According to the tests, the upload speed remains fast).

If I reboot the router, then I get around a 12Mb download speed and it works fine for a couple more days.

This is not tied to any particular time of day -- is this happening to anyone else?

      My connection info is:

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 15323 kbps 764 kbps
Line Attenuation 27.0 db 15.3 db
Noise Margin 8.4 db 13.5 db

      regards

      James

Not far from the Finchley exchange in North London.... recently bought the house and before the carpets were laid, I flood filled it with Cat5e cables which makes life a lot easier.

I would be happier with a slower but consistent speed... having 10Mb+ one day and the dropping down to 50kb is a pain in the *rse
