I really can't see what is wrong, let’s try something else. As the modem is connecting to the internet, leave it alone except to turn off the DHCP server. Now switch off the modem.
      1. Unplug Airport Extreme from everything
      2. Reset the Airport Extreme to factory default
      3. Connect the Airport Extreme to your Mac with ethernet cable in one of the ports, not in the Wan port
      4. Start the Airport Wizard from Airport Utility
      5. At the stage where it asks for a Modem, connect the modem to the WAN port.
      6. Switch on the Modem and the Airport Utility should find the Internet connection and after a few minutes should set up the network automatically. Reboot your mac and it should connect.

Re: d-link 320B plus airport extreme

      ok
I follow your instructions twice. both times is giving me the same errors no internet connections and no DNS server so I put fns my self and click update. after this there is one error no internet connection but also in internet tab there is no ip address and I think because I turn off the DHCP server on modem. so if I use Static option in Internet tab and put:
      192.168.1.254
      255.255.255.0
      192.168.1.1
and DNS I put early 90.207.238.97 and 99 is giving me Double NAT error so in network tab I use DHCP only with ip range 192.168.1.2 to 200 instead of DHCP and NAT and click update. now I got green light on airport base but orange on internet and still back to beginning...
