      LLU Cease vs MAC code

I cancelled sky broadband last week. Want to transfer to another ISP as soon as I can.

The lady at sky said when I spoke to them today that sky send me a MAC code which takes 5-10 days, which I can give to another ISP and get transferred.

From reading other posts on the forums, people are saying that an LLU cease has to go through before you can transfer.

I still have broadband that I can use as long as I keep hold of the router, but I'd like to be able to sort out a new ISP and be rid of sky once and for all!

      Thanks in advance

An LLU MAC code is about as much use as boobs on a goldfish. Try ringing ZEN, I have heard in the past that they will process them.

I cancelled today as well. 5 day wait for a MAC code which would be no use at all according to BT Wholesale. Sky need to remove the LLU circuitry as well. That can take upto 30 days apparantely !!
