This is a discussion on Firefox V IE within the Sky Broadband help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; I like the extensions in Firefox - I use Stumble quite a lot - get some really quirky & interesting ...

Ive been using firefox for ages now and hands down its so much better than IE IMHO. Ive started using Firefox 2.0 and this has been a dream, Ive even dl IE7 just to compare and to be honest there is no comparison, sure enough IE7 "steals" the tabbing and RSS intergration ideas from firefox and opera but it just feels so clunky and bloated that I stopped using it after 30 minutes.

Firefox does the job for me in a very nice way, its stable, efficient, usually very fast and above all it feels lean, I keep IE7 on my desktop as a relic of the good old days of the browser wars between netscape and IE, and ofcourse the occasional page that refuses to load up in anything but IE, however I dont think I'd ever go back to IE again!

I have been using crazy browser, because it had tabs. Downloaded IE7 yesterday, and have been using that. Seems fine to me.

We have quite a few people at work that use firefox. They go on about the extensions, skins etc etc. However once you have installed all the extensions you need, its as bloated as IE

Will stick with IE7 for the time being
