Any One Getting Call Backs?
I'm in my third week of waiting for a 'within 5 days' call back.
I can sit waiting for the news/fix for a fault that was found by Sky but i'd like to know if people are getting rung back.
Its fine if they are just busy, well not that i have a choice
There's probably a few in the same boat. I just want to be sure the call will eventualy come!

I'm waiting for a Tier 3 callback. They havent had their 5 working days yet tho.
Someone rang on Sunday but only to see if I still need the callback.
I also got a letter welcoming me to the service - that's just taking the p***.

I was promised a tier 3 call back weeks ago that never happened.
I am currently on the 5th day waiting for a tier 2 call back.
I did get a call from tier 2 out of the blue on October 15th asking how I was getting on with my broadband, which made me laugh as BT had extended my connection date to the 17th. According to the tier 2 chap I had been connected since September 20th on their system, or at least most of their system, some of it still said I wasn't connected. After explaining again that BT hadn't connected me and running through some checks to prove I coudn't connect he promised to call back on October 18th and check the go live had happened. Guess what - he didn't.
By the way the current tier 2 call is because, although I was connected on the 17th there are a lot of sites I can't access - including:
www.sky.com - good one that!
oh and Google Earth as well.
When I do a trace route for these sites the connection times out while bouncing between easynet servers.
Interestingly if I connect with the Torpark browser I can get to these sites, can't wait to call back and chase up the call so I can run through all the tedious checks I have already been through when the problem is obviously with Sky, not my PC or router.

The only time I have been rung by Sky is after my account was given to the service recovery team. Every other time before that when I was promised a call back it never occured.
I say phone them up. If you have been witing 3 weeks already I would the chances are you've been forgotten about.

I took your advise and guess what?....
Not only had they forgoten about, lost ticket or something, but they'd also forgot to tell BT about it too!!
Anyway, i have now been promised a ring back within 3 days, so they can tell me what BT find.
It's starting to look like things only happen when you poke and prod people into action.

I have had 3 emails saying they would call me but they did not call, then another e mail asking me what the problem was?? I attached my first email in body of the new message and got another email saying they would call me in the next 24 hours...3 weeks ago still waiting!
Removed URL that was broken. This may help??

The link didn't work but i looked in the forums anyway.
Thanks. Just keep hassling them until they sort you out.
I'm starting to form the opion that Sky, have not just been stupid and planned badly.
I'm starting to think they have gone ahead, not ready, just to get in the market a.s.a.p. and take up as much market share as possible. They're supposed to be the first to give b.b. for free and then the higher speeds at a cheap rate.
Probably getting in first before someone else offers similar deals.
