passwords, or lack of...
Been live on bb for over 2 months now still with many many teething probs, but just getting on with it at this stage. However, I have requested 8 times for my psswords. On each occasion I dont recieve one for approx 4 weeks and then a bunch of them arrive but with stars as my password. Anybody having the same and what can I do to reasolve this: just keep ringing Sky or is there a way round this so I can set up my email through OE at least.

I've rung them on each occasion, but was advised on my last call (of which I am still waiting for the password) that the machine that issues the passwords has a fault

I cant get my password to work either,I have phoned countless times asking them if its the correct one,only for them to say,my username and password are correct.

It took approx a week, after migration, for my access to skybroadband.com to workI have sold my sold soul and joined SkyBroadband

Daz your user name and password are the ones sent to you by post.Be aware that quite a few people have mistakenly keyed an 'O' (uppercase letter) when it should be a '0' (as in the number) for example.Might be worth doublechecking m8.I set up OE using username and password but intially made the mistake that I've mentioned here.Also refer to Ratti3's OE set up procedure in the tutorials (very useful).Good luck.You never know, might even save yourself a few phone calls!

The username is visable in the correspendence issued stage of chordiant but the password is starred out for security reasons.Ask the next tech to reset you're password.That should solve it.You'll get the new password within a few days.

Hi ya, just recieved my new password yet again, and guess what......its still stars where there should be my numbers, oh well whats another month in waiting for them to send me my password! Anybody else STILL having problems getting their passwords?
I'm also still having to reboot my router everytime i come on to the internet.
