    wireless trouble

      wireless trouble

      hello i cant get my laptop to connect to the internet,it says the it is connected to the wireless connection does anyone know how to find the default gateway address i think it is something to do with that thanx for any help

      Hi,

      I had the same problem with my netgear PCI card.

      Just make sure that your username & password are the same has the sticker under the router uppercase or lowercase or mixed etc & make sure it is the same & don't use WEP use >>WPA-PSK<< the internet connection will not work with sky netgear router in WEP security mode, and only show connected to wireless router, but once in WPA-PSK security mode the wireless connection should show connected to the internet.
