      There was a link to something earlier in this thread about how to get the username and password for SR101, but I haven't tried it myself. Perhaps it's not a password generator then. If that's the case then my apologies!

      My router has blown up! I cannot use it at all. No power. Nothing. These guides and videos cannot help me as this is extracting the username and password from the router. I cant extract from a router that blew up.

      I'm probably wrong but I always thought the username for Sky Broadband is the MAC address of the WAN port (excluding the colons) at dslsky dot com?

      And I also thought that the password was simply calculated from the MAC address of the WAN port (excluding the colons) for which the algorithm exists on one or two known websites?

      Or is that only for the non-SR101 routers?

      As far as im aware that's only for the non sr101 routers

      Have you tried calling Sky to check if there is a message on your account to show when your SR101 first logged in? If there is it is possible that the username and password it logged in with may also be there.

      I do not think that you are going to get anywhere this way as your router is dead.

      I would be a little concerned as to why the router has died in this manner. Do you know what caused it?

      Sadly I do think that you are going to have to call Sky and arrange to get a replacement router from them.

      Edit: The log in details are unique to the router. If you were to use my router's log in details I could not access the Internet. So sorry, I ain't giving them to no one. (I'm selfish like that )
