      Depending on exactly what the engineer said, wait & see what sky & openreach want to do.

      I had 4 or 5 visits by openreach once & on every occasion their 'sophisticated' equipment couldn't detect the fault.
      Every time, they left saying it could be REIN.

      After that, the final chap still couldn't detect it but (presumably as a last resort), put me on a different line between the distribution point outside my flats & the street cabinet.

      Problem solved.
      Just saying.

      Depends on how they detected it, quite possible for a faulty sat amp to cause REIN.

      Indeed & far more likely given that others in the block have similar issues.

      All i'm saying is that in my experience, the 'first wave' of openreach engineers use their gadgets & that's it.
      Once the test comes back as 'ok', REIN might be mentioned...

      Yes and actually getting someone who can diagnose either way is often extremely difficult

      I went to tesco earlier came back about a mile before I got to my flat I tunned the radio in to 631mw and as soon as I entered my area you should hear the interference is really is noticeable

      There are 9 blocks I small flats in my area all have the same type sat on each roof my 3G signal on my phone is really poor in the area also
