Sky have relpied to my email...yipeee!!!

I emailed sky c/s 9 days ago listing my dissatisfactions with the service.

I told them I wanted some answers as to when I can expect to be connected.

I just checked my email and found this "Hi, thanks for contacting us about our new broadband service.

I'm sorry you've encountered problems, however, I understand that these have
      now been fully resolved.

I hope you're now enjoying Sky Broadband and would like to offer my
      apologies for these initial difficulties.

If you do have any outstanding concerns, please come back to us and we'll be
      happy to help.

      Kind regards

      Sky Broadband Team

What???? where do they get their information? Nothing has been resolved!!

I am very quickly losing faith.

Presumably they looked at the same screen that says I'm connected. And presumably like me, you're not.

      Correct.

I want to bail out and switch to somewhere more professional, but do not want to go through the whole sign up process with another ISP.

I think I'll give them one more week.

the email support doesnt sound fantastic pretty sure its just tier1 folks, perhaps calling and then escalating it would get you a more satisfactory response.

I personally find email support terrible for pretty much any company I used eg. 7 days after asking car phone warehouse o2 to tell me how much My contract had left and the price to cancel i get a responce telling me what contract im on and how to upgrade lol.

give me a person on the phone anyday
