      Angry Given wrong broadband package by Sky!

      I signed up for the Base product, which they confirmed (in writing) was available at my local exchange (Chelmsford). After my line was activated (6 days before the wireless router arrived) a member of their technical support team told me, by chance, that I was on the Connect package, at 17 a month. I complained in writing, and received a reply stating that, by the time my order was processed "the exchange had closed" and the only option available was Connect, although of course they didn't tell me this at the time! Anyone else had a similar experience, and what do they mean by "the exchange had closed"? Is this just more PR crap? Thanks.

      There would appear to be a few with this problem, ask them if they will do the CONNECT package at the lower price or you will cancel, it may or not work.

      Still, saying that they were wrong to mis-sell it to you.
