      broadband connection

      I am having problems with my internet connection. The problem is that it is taking 5 min to connect once connected no problems, I am using a skynetgear router and my O.S. is win 7. I have tried unplugging and reset but nothing works any help would be appreciated

      If you don't have any problems after it is connected, why switch it off? Routers perform better when they are allowed to run 24/7 and use very little power.

      If it is the problem occurring some times then its ok and it can be solved by asking the technical person from the broadband supplier company. But it is happening daily then i suggest to change the broadband provider company so that you can enjoy the internet full.
