      Hi

When did you first join on connect? If less than 10 days ago it does through a training curve so to speak.

      Hello

I am on the Connect package as well and for the first two weeks I suffered from slow speeds but only in the evening on weekdays, this was generally put down to more people accessing the net at this time of the day. However since Sunday my speeds in the evening have improved so much so that web surfing is free of slow loading web pages.

How long have you been on the Connect package as apparently the is a 10 training period where your router will will sync (connect) to the exchange and determine the best speed. It can take up to 10 days to achieve this.

You should have had 3 of them with the router - a white thingy with a dangly bit on it

Try changing the one you have for another one.

only got two of them sent so tried swapping them but made no difference.
on the computer symbol on bottom task bar the speed varies from 11.0mbps to 54.0mbps and strength from low to excellent in a short space of time, what causes that.

I take it then you are connected wirelessly, can you try plugging the laptop into the router direct via the ethernet cable?
