      Strange wireless problem happening everynight

Everynight I loose connection to my wireless hub, although all lights are green. It has happened every night now between 9pm and 10.30pm. I have checked my settings and it is not on any sort of power save timer. My laptop, android phones cant find the network. If I turn off my router it comes back on again. Then it will go off again the next night.

Also some webpages are unreachable, unless I reboot my router also, this started about a month ago.

I have noticed tonight there seems to be 4 more Sky routers that I am picking up nearby, there used to be only 1 other. Could this be the problem, interference from other routers???

I have my channel set to auto scan and at the moment it has picked channel 6

      Any ideas????

      Thanks

      Dave

That is the most likely reason for your problem. Try using a fixed channel instead of Auto, I have my doubts about how well the Auto setting works, especially on the older routers. Find the clearest channel you can and set it to that, although channel 13 is often a good one. Do this when you are experiencing difficulties as it is possible all the networks in your area are not broadcasting 24/7.
