If this is the case then why did Sky keep telling in fortnightly emails my area would be ready by Christmas? Not only does it appear this will not be the case but if they are waiting on thresholds it might be a few Christmases before the quota is met.
I've stopped getting the updates from them since taking up the Connect package.

I take it all back. Seems my exchange was enabled 21/10/2006. Now that's galling it's cost me £40 to get on the connect package only 3 weeks ago!

You could try complaining. Not sure if it would work though.
