      Thumbs down 5 weeks to switch from ukonline to sky!!!!!

      I'm stunned to the bones!!! Just cancelled my UKONLINE broadband to switch over to Sky, she told me that it will take anything between 4 to 5 weeks!! That is crazy, and the best thing is the BT guy takes the UKONLINE exchange off just to put skyís one on later when my order with sky had gone through (itís the same thing he puts back coz sky owns UKONLINE)

      Man 5 weeks without broadband, Iím gona die!!!

      It's been over 5 weeks for me, I was supposed to be online on September 12th (and had to cancel previous provider 10 days prior to that). Still no sight of getting online, they're clueless. If it's not too late, reconsider signing up with sky, whatever timeline they give you, triple it, then add some more. and more...

      Spoken to BT wholesale and they gave me my LLu nr will ring ukonline back to get a case date. Coz by law they have to give you a date...

      Which number did you ring them on? Maybe I'll try that since Sky won't give me a date because 'they don't know how much longer it will take and they're not sure what the problem is', although they've apparently been trying to sort 'it' out since september 25th (fulham exchange)

      Ukonline cease line date

      Hi Just to let all Ukonline customers switching to SkyBB, i have been waiting now for 18 days for a cease line date, fed up of being told by Ukonline its a BT issue. Rang BT Wholesale today(08001699576) and they told me that no order had been placed to have my line ceased(tagged). The chap from BT stated that i should have been given a date by now and that i should contact Ukonline and state that i had contacted BT Wholesale and no order had been placed. Rang Ukonline told them that i had contacted BT Wholesale with this issue, with no exuses this time the advisor from Ukonline tells me to hold while he contacts a engineer, low and behold 1 minute later they've given me a cease date 26th october. Dont know if this because of the BT Wholesale thing, Hope this helps. Will keep you posted if i my line is ceased on the mentioned date.
      p.s Ukonline free phone number 08000532000 and ask for the swap over team.
