      Speed drop after DLM

I have Broadband unlimited which has been running at 3Mbit for about a year. DLM has run over the last 10 days and set it to 1Mbit. Nothing has changed recently with my internal wiring so what could have caused it?

I'm running a D-Link router (as it seems to give longer range WIFI than the Sky one and the stats are below:

      Downstream Upstream
Rate (Kbps): 1024 kbps 605 kbps
      SNR Margin (dB): 18.6 15.9
      Attenuation (dB): 59.5 36.8
      Output Power (dBm): 13.4 8.3

      Thanks

      Re: Speed drop after DLM

From the stats you have posted according to the Downstream SNR margin there is plenty of scope for speed improvement so I guess DLM set the speed based on other parameters. Assuming that your line does not sound noisy when making phone calls I would speak to Sky BB tech, explain the situation and ask if they can set a higher speed manually.
