      thats my settings best speed for me ?
      is there a reason for the change from MER yet?
      and will i be able to go back onto it cant you force yourself back onto it and is it possible to set your own noise margine my parents is about 4 were mine is 7

      16Mb is pretty good for your attenuation. You might get a bit more if you can get them to run DLM training again, but it may cost you stability.

      You can't change the noise margin with a Sky router and even if you could it would not help unless you could get them to raise the cap on your line. It is capped for stability, not because they don't want to give you more. You need to use your own router to do this and even then, all routers don't allow it.

      Why would you want to go back to MER? There is no advantage to you. PPPoA is better in the respect that you can use your own router if you wish with no problems.
