      Is SKY down?

My sky started to slow down and become intermittant as it often does in the evening, so I rebooted the router and although the line statistics look O.K. now I'm not getting an IP address. Is any one else having a problem?

I've just had an hour of down time. Thought it may have been the fact that I was trying to set up a workgroup to connect my laptop (which still isn't working wirelessly).

Restored my pc to before I began, rebooted. No luck.

Checked via admin on the router and it wasn't showing a connection, but all the lights were on. Then it did connect, then it lost it again.

Unplugged the router. Plugged it back in. No joy. Called support on a VERY FAINT LINE and asked if my exchange was down in which time my line came back up!!! Hmmmmm.

      Stable this ISP is not.

If you have connection problems, i find that powering down the router and removing the phone line connection for an hour solves some connection issues.
I lost my connection a few weeks back and i did the above and it seemed to do the trick.
