      no Khristian

      gymno clearly has a better route into london

      if Khristian goes on the gamer profile he will get 2ms more from the interleaveing and about a 1ms -2ms from the interleave depth
      so he would be around 3ms or 4ms worse off

      Regarding the FUA (fluctuating upstream attenuation), although i've chosen to ignore it, there's something i forgot to mention which may be of importance to some...

      Immediately after a resync, my upstream noise margin will be quite low, usually 5-5.5db.
      Then during the next 10-20 minutes, it'll gradually rise to & settle at the normal 9db.

      Despite my limited knowledge of these things, i can't help thinking that (providing everyone with FUA gets the same nm phenomena after a resync), if the attenuation figure were to update /refresh in real-time like the nm does, that it too would gradually rise & show the correct figure as well.

      IE: the bug or whatever is causing this, is down to the speed at which those figures are assessed / reported & nothing more?

      I too have noticed the changes in upstream margin, but I've just put that down to the connection settling after a re-sync or something like that.

      I did noticed today that my adsl cable was not sitting correctly in the adsl socket of the vDSL faceplate, it seems the Belkin shielded ADSL cables have a slightly longer plug which if wobbled causes a fair few (FEC and CRC) errors, I also noticed the faceplate was not sitting flush to the NTE (as the NTE was badly fitted), so I've also fixed that and well as now using a more basic adsl cable which sits in the socket better.

      I've also decided not to order one of the SR101's as opinion is it'll be no better.
