In regards to upload he told me that if he set the upload speed to 0.8 it would decrease my download speed a little so I decided against it lol
The advisor has also started the DLM again and Im waiting for my router to re-sync as he said it's showing 5.8MB sync at their end.

i would go for higher upload as that will improve response times for downloading and browsing

I don't understand that, in Annex A upload uses a different part of the frequency band so it is hard to see how it can effect the download. Your very high upstream noise margin shows that you are heavily capped. It would happen using Annex M but Sky don't use this. When they set my line to 790 they said much the same thing, but I told them to change it anyway. I now have 1.1Mb with no loss in my download.

As Tenar says, having a good upload speed is more important than you may think.

Looking at the noise margins on both the down & upstream connections, I would suggest that you have a little more room for improvement.

The Noise Margin on the Downstream side is at about the lowest, but by taking some of the available signal bandwidth from the upstream side, the downstream could be improved a little. I have seen DLM do this in the past, but not all the time.
