Hey, I have actually been "on-line" for more than 2 hours - things must be being sorted.

Make sure you try a re-boot on your router - just in case it is "patch" sent over the network.

      Regards,

strange thats normally the best site to try

      I just tried it

      Last Result:
Download Speed: 5175 kbps (646.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 369 kbps (46.1 KB/sec transfer rate)

so it can't be the site, hows everything else - does it still seem quicker?

      James

Well, my speed suddenly increased to 8Mb (fastest ever)at 10 last night when earlier on it had only been at 2. Had been slower past few days but had previously been averraging 6Mb but nearly always at about 9pm slowed down completely and had to reboot to solve problem and could sometimes happen twice at night. Last night was one of the few times I had no problems whatsoeverand have had service since end of August.

However, not all good news as though tonight have been getting around 6-7 at 9.30 pm message of limited connectivity and couldn't even get into the router settings as all i could get get was the page can not be displayed message. Solved by switching pc off and on and things fine now but strange.

      Here are my stats:

      WAN PPPoA 37872 54314 0 1420 10753 01:50:10
      LAN 10M/100M 56001 38841 0 10831 1548 01:51:34
      WLAN 11M/54M/108M 1046 0 0 15 0 01:51:24

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 15323 kbps 766 kbps
Line Attenuation 21.0 db 11.9 db
Noise Margin 7.5 db 12.5 db

Let's hope the service does improve as though may well have been luckier than some others as always connected for at least 3 hours before the slow downs the lack of stability was a bit frustrating.

      James
