Hi Space, you would be better off using your own software to monitor your downlaods afaik there is no way to check on the Sky portal

      Ps removed your other post

      Hi,
Not sure if Sky even offer that service but there is plenty of freeware on the net to do that.

Any tips on getting this to work? Apparently getting SNMP enabled involves a hidden page (http://192.168.0.1/snmp.htm) which just results in a blank page on mine.

u have to install SNMP under

      Control Panel>
      Add or remove programs>
      Windows and/remove components>

in the list look for managment and monitoring tools

highlight it and click the details button. and tick the SNMP = simple network managment protocol & wmi SNMP provider

then SNMP will be enabled on the pc

they will be auto added to your services so you can turn SNMP on/off if you want

      have fun

Thanks for that - got it running but still can't make heads or tails of it. Looks like there's some studying to do to figure out how to make it useful.

Ah yes Dumeter - I remember it from the bad old days. Looks a lot simpler to handle.

But I will try to fathom the other one too - always good to learn lol.
