How much does the Sky Hub SR101 cost to buy?

As we have previously reported, the Sky Hub was released on 18th October 2012

The price we have read and since had confirmed was £39 plus £2.18 postage.

We understood that the pricing (as above) included everyone who is a Sky Broadband Customer, however it is evident, that Sky are seemingly charging 2 different prices.

£39 if you are an existing ADSL customer. (Both online and via Telephone)

£69 if you are an existing Fibre customer. (Both online and via Telephone)

We have sent a couple of emails, and this is the first reply so far. This is off the Sky Affiliate section that we deal with.

In terms of pricing, all existing customers who wish to upgrade for a limited period, will pay £39 plus £2.18 delivery charge (donít ask me where the 32.18 came from!) be it fibre customers or ADSL.
All new customers, or customers switching to Sky get the Hub for free.

In January, all existing customers wanting to upgrade their router to the hub be charged £69, but for now, it is £39 for all.
We are just waiting for the second reply off a Sky staff member, and we will publish that asap

So if you are being quoted any price other than £39 for the actual purchase of the Hub, then I would hold off at the moment, until we can get some further clarity.

Re: How much does the Sky Hub SR101 cost to buy?

      From another thread.

You are right. I got in touch with the Fibre team and they confirmed it should be £39, but they have found a systems issue on the order page they are now going to fix asap.

Will post when this has been rectified.
How many ordered the SR101 Hub then?
