      is windows the problem

      just logged in to my linux partition and guess what , my internet problem solved.
      speed tests about 4.5mb .itunes downloading at a constant 550kbs
      all night on windows ive had the slow speed tests pages not loading very fast and now this.
      will need to test it tomorrow from 17.00hrs onwards to see how it goes.
      any one have an explanation for this??
      any one using linux care to give there feedback
      id use linux all the time its more secure , but i do amateur photography and the software i use wont run on linux,,, damn

      i cant see how windows/linux would make any difference, apart from if any software installed on your windows partition is causing problems. (spyware etc)

      The difference I could see is the way it sets up your Network card, obviously there would be no difference at what the router syncs at.

      I seem to get a better download speed in Linux not by a lot but enough.
