      Help - driver_irql_not_less_or_equal - Resolved

Hi, I have recently switched from BT to Sky broadband and found everything to be working fine apart from this one thing!

Everytime I try to use Limewire, my computer screen goes blue and the following error messege appears

      driver_irql_not_less_or_equal

now this never happened when I was using BT broadband and I'v also tried uninstalling and re installing limewire but to no effect. If anyone could help me with this I would be most greatfull.

Hi spinx, afaik there is nothing that can associate that with Sky bb, have you updated any drivers or added any other hardware recently?

I googled the error and it looks like the advice given was to update the drivers in your NIC card.

No, in fact I tried to use limewire almost as soon as I installed Sky Broadband. It also happens when trying to use bit torrents aswell. Both programs crash after a couple of seconds of loading up.

Have you tried turning Upnp off in the router?

      Re: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

This can be caused by many things; hardware such as bad memory, motherboard ,etc., and software and drivers that are not compatible.

NIC is your network card, the thing that your ethernet cable plugs into.
