I am wondering if it may be worth changing your NTE5 Master Socket with a new one and installing a vDSL filtered faceplate. Dave from run-IT-direct would be better qualified than myself to confirm this.

Could you check to see if you have any BT boxes between this socket and where the telephone cable leaves your property?

His stats are the same in the front and the test socket, so pretty pointless in reality?

      Not easily tbh

You could ring up Sky and say that you think you should get at least 7meg etc?

Is that the only socket in the house?

Can you take a picture of that one with the front removed?

Just to see if there is a ring wire that could be disconnected.

The first image looks like the master socket to me and therefore internal wiring would be ruled out by using the test socket etc You should same as me if not higher. I am nearly 1meg higher on the download speed.

      Re: Increase upload speed?

I was thinking about something such as a BT Junction Box. There are a whole range of different designs.

You only need pins 2 and 5 connected in there, if confident, just disconnect the others.
