      Speeds decreased.

      Hi after being with sky for 4 years and having a constant 14000 / 1000 downstream \ upstream which I was happy with the internet was having problems where it would load everything really slowly for a while but then it would come back so I checked on My sky and it turns out they ran DLM on my line now it's finished and says my download was set to 10.2 and my upload was set to 1.3 and when I restart my router I get the full 10.2 downstream but 945 upstream but after a while it drops and drops until it just stops and doesn't change.

      But before it had never changed in the whole 4 years of being with sky gave them a call and they sent out a new router and a new microfilter but that didn't fix the problem.

      Here's the current speeds could it be DLM has capped me and I have to phone and ask them to manually change it or is there an error somewhere? Any help is appreciated, thanks .

      Could there be an error on the line which is causing DLM to lower the speed since it was a stable 14k now it starts off at it's capped 10.2 and then slowly decreases to lower 9000s until it stops is this DLM lowering it to prevent errors? And sometimes at some points in the day usually later at night the internet has times where it goes completely unusable websites wont load and ping on games will jump up and then it'll go fine again a few minutes later.

      line just needs reprofiled but if any sign of snr changing?

      Well it's 7.8 now instead of 9.8 i'll check it when my internet has one of it's moments where it won't load anything but does it usually lower from it's set cap I thought that if it was capped it would just stay there since it was capped at 10,200 but I used to have 14000 so I now my line can support it but i'll check up my SNR when my internet wont load anything if nothing changes i'll give them a call and ask them to reprofile the line but would that fix the random moments where nothing loads and my line has always been 25.5 DB but before it went down to 25 then back up and then back down etc but now it's back to 25.5 if that means anything. Thanks for the advice.

      if attenuation and snr changing then there is some sort of interference with will trigger dlm to cap line down
