Sorry but how can you 'accidently visit' a site for 5 minutes?

I was on the websites 'about' page for a few minutes and it just said it was a file sharing site.

ISPs generally only keep a very vague record of overall network activity, which cannot identify precisely. However due to the nature of the site you might be on the radar somewhere if the site was monitored, you have done right by reporting.

Hi there, I never signed up to the site or anything like that, or ever went searching for that type of site.
I was just wondering whether ISP's flag users if they visit sites like that.

This is what we are currently governed by- Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000

IMO, you would not have to much to worry about by what you describe.

      Thanks for your reply.
      Why do you say that?
I certainly hope not since I've not done anything wrong, but I was wondering whether sky searches through history and flags users if they visit websites.
Do you know how long sky stores their history for?
      Thanks again.

I believe that all ISPs tend to keep a history for 12 months.

Do make sure that you clear down your Internet activity and cookies.

As for reporting it, I trust that you have reported the site to the IWF:

Report child sexual abuse content to the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF)

Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps
Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
      Speedtest: 17.15MB/s 0.97Mb/s Ping 31 ms

I just wanted to know whether I would be flagged for visiting such a site, and whether sky does this.
