      ............since there is no 21CN or ADSL2+ on my line?.........I am tryign to understand a) how LLU can increase my speed from a measly 2MB to 'up to' 24MB when the technology is the same (if I understand correctly) it's just a different leasing system.
      Up to 24 Mb is adsl2+ which is what most LLU providers supply. 21CN is the BT equivalent of ADSL2+ LLU and has nothing to do with whether you can get it from another provider. However, UP TO is the important words and mean just that. Only those who are very close to the exchange will get 24 Mb, with your distance from the exchange you will get about 5-7Mb.

      Just an update, I was able to get a MAC code from Sky Connect with very little fuss and am now on Xilo Pro , and whilst it's only giving about 4.5MB/s currently (haven't tweaked it yet) it's so much quicker and more reliable than Connect.
