      I took a break yesterday.

      Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps
      Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
      Speedtest: 17.15MB/s 0.97Mb/s Ping 31 ms

      Was on the phone with sky checking some things out and the guy said the maximum my line could handle is 17mb, so will they up it to that for me?
      It may well be capable of that with a 0db noise margin, but it would be very unstable. You may find the next one you speak to raises your noise margin to 7db and you end up loosing speed, both up and down. It is up to you whether you want to take the chance on them messing up a perfectly good line.

      With your sync speed of 14 Megabits/s, your actual download rate should be around 1.5Megabytes/s
