      i give up with sky broadband

      23:16:45

      ADSL Link
      Connection Speed

      Downstream 6428 kbps

      Upstream 878 kbps

      Line Attenuation

      49.0 db

      28.7 db

      Noise Margin

      Downstream 13.4 db

      Upstream 9.0 db

      i am in the test socket and connected via ethernet no extensions running

      i have phoned up 3 times to cst and have been told once already that whoever manual adjusted your line made an **** of it so she set the line last night
      got up this morning and my noise margin is really high

      am getting really frustated now

      anyone advise

      Why are you frustrated out of curiosity? Your line looks pretty good in regards to speed for that attenution.

      Downstream is probably just capped, hence the higher SNR.

      You have a very good speed for the length of your line and the SNR being higher is a good thing means it should be more stable without any errors or disconnections the lower the SNR the weaker the signal meaning the line will be less stable.

      Have you tried to reboot now it's the morning? If not, do it and see what happens - bet speed goes up
