      ADSL or ADSL2+

      There has been a number of suggestions that SKy are changing services from ADLS 2+ to basic ADSL when customers have issues with their service, is this true????

      How can you tell what service you are receiving???

      Any techies out there in the knowledge????

      The service should still be ADSL2+ (providing you're on Max), but they'll just cap your sync speed to increase stability.

      If you've flashed your router and can telnet into it, adslctl info --stats will provide you with the ADSL connection type.

      This is true. Before I cancelled they moved me onto ADSL from ADSL2+ as they said it was more stable and I could never reach speeds over 8Mb anyway.
