      Hi Raging

Have you tried plugging your router into the master socket to rule out internal wiring?

If you dont know what i am saying i can post you a link

If I try this and it improves, will it be safe to leave the front panel exposed or is there way of improing the internal wiring.

Cheers! The speed has jumped up 2.5mb, but there's no dialling tone on the other two phones in the house!

Would a new ADSL faceplate also solve this!

Whilst the faceplate is off, only the test socket is active. I would totally recommend an adsl faceplate!!

I would plug the front panel back in then so your phones work, now you know how to fix your speed tho
