      Lost connection again but....

I lost connection at about 2pm today, having determined that the problem was at sky's end i decided to bite the bullet and ring broadband support.

Shock of horrors, there was no wait and i spoke to someone immediately after navigating the options (it was an indian accent so perhaps it may have been an indian call center i don't know.. but after trying to disuade the lady not to run through the "have you got it plugged in script....." she actually managed to tell me there was a fault on my exchange that was currently being worked on. At 6pm the internet came back on line.

The point of the post is. Have support actually got their act together, because despite loosing the internet for 4 hours (these things happen i suppose), i was actually suprised and impressed by the response. No 40 min wait and apparently no BS.

I can also say that personally i have never had to wait more than a few minutes on the 3 occasions i have called.

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

@dingdong - there was a problem on a number of exchanges between about 1:30 and 5:00 today. Support told me that exchanges in Wokingham, Bracknell, Reading, Maidenhead etc were all out (seemed to be exchanges with code beginning TH...).
