Connect to unlimited - What can i expect

I have just been transferred from Sky Connect to Sky unlimited. I used to get speeds of about 3meg download and 0.3 meg upload.

Since swapping over on the 16th i have seen a very minor improvement of 3.5meg download and 0.5 meg upload. I understand it can take 10 days for the line to improve / stabalise but can i expect much more of an improvement.

The only reason I ask is that I have been quoted a download speed of 24.3 meg from BT.

      Thanks

      What's your router stats?

How to get your router statistics - Sky User - The unofficial support forum for everything Sky!

I take it BT are giving you that offering based on a fibre product?

Well, unless you are able to sign up to Sky's fibre options, then you will get nowhere near what BT are saying, is the simple answer.

Try asking in the fibre forum on here to see if anyone can help you find out if your exchange is done etc etc

Don't forget you will be on DLM - with an attenuation of 44 you should go up even more.

Mine is 48 and I get just over 7meg
