      I really need this issue sorted. Last night it went back to around 50ms after midnight so I will check again later and post back here.

      After midnight they went back down to my normal 50ms ping but this evening they have gone back up again.

      Shrewsbury Shropshire.

      Why do I get the impression that everyone just thinks it must be on my end? As far as I can tell there must be something wrong on skys network in my area.

      Maybe in the area you are everyone on Sky BB is hammering the net?

      I know Sky are constantly upgrading their backhaul etc and it maybe they haven't done yours yet?

      The other thing of course, is during the first 10 days, then you maybe suffering from DLM etc and so it maybe a case of wait and see.

      MySky states that there is no line testing in progress. How can I check if there is a problem in my area with skys network or if it has not been upgraded? I am on the Shrewsbury exchange (WNSY).

      I am really regretting moving to this 12 month contract with sky, talktalk was much better.

      You can't.

      It's not that usual that people have issues on the LLU side of things, mainly connect or other external influences etc

      If it is OK mainly during the day and outside of peak hours, it would perhaps suggest congestion, as for traffic shaping etc there is none.

      Sky has been spot on for me and millions of others, it looks like it maybe a local issue to your area perhaps, hence what made me mention the backhaul capacity etc

      Have you spoken to Sky?

      Yes I have spoken to them, they basically said it must my setup which I know its not. A quick tracert confirms this. Pingpath also confirms.

      Are there any sky reps on this forum that can perhaps access exchange information on congestion ect?
