      Speed drops after 2-3 months!

So I've been with Sky for a year - always sync at 11.5mb, then every 2-3 months the speed drops to 9.5mb. A reboot always brings me back to 11.5mb - cycle goes round again!

I appreciate the 9.5mb is OK still but why can't the router just leave me at 11.5?

Could it be because I'm running the router on an extension - I am planning to move it to the main socket soon but as its in the hallway I am told by the misses we need a suitable hidey cupboard for it before that happens, ha!

Overall though am happy with Sky, does everything I want, even streaming HD movies on Apple TV box.

Now bring on the FTTC (no date for Whittlesey exchange though yet - hurry up BTO)

Re: Speed drops after 2-3 months!

Wish I could get 9.5mb, I currently receive a speed of 2.5mb which isn't really enough to stream HD on iPlayer successfully.

Maybe it's because I live "out in the sticks" in Bristol!
