Unbundled exchange still no sky broadband

      Hi

I am sure someone can answer this for me, according to Easynet, they have unbundled my exchange, but sky still only offer me the Sky Connect package.
The question is, if my exchange has been unbundled why can I not Sky Max as I want.

      Thanks in anticipation

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

      Thanks for that Wheelie,

I dont know and perhaps sam may not know but Easynet should know, below is their e-mail to me confirming it went live on the 18th September, so who knows!!! I have had them check it as well because I got the below reply on the on the 20th September and they again confirmed it.

      Hello Gary
The date we have for your exchange to be unbundled is 18th September, 2006. However this is not a confirmed date and won't be confirmed until the exchange has actually gone live.

      Kind regards,

But it is an unconfirmed date, I would expect it to be confirmed once completed and definately it would have to be confirmed before Sky would sell you a connection on it.

This is the second e-mail from easynet which appers to confirm what the first one said that the exchange has been unbundled

      Hello Gary,

I can confirm that the exchange date is correct. We at Easynet have information about the exchange and that it has been unbundled, however you will need to contact Sky to find out if you can receive this service.

The Sky Broadband Helpdesk contact number is: 08705 515 515.

      Many thanks in advance.

Yes but my point is that until easynet update the exchange as confirmed any checks that sky run will not show it as such. If not they could end up selling an unavailable connection to someone.

Sorry Gary but since samknows it probably the most up to date system on the net for any exchange info and as we rely on samknows we can only tell you whats on that site and your exchange isn't even on the pending list.

So I guess you have had it until Sky tell you different.
