      Internet Laggy Since 2 Days

      hey i have sky router dg834gt and for the past few days im getting alot off lagg.
      web pages dont load sometimes and when they do they are really slow to load.

      i have tried reseting the router and it hasnt help.
      please can some1 help me.

      How many telephone sockets do you use?
      Is there a microfilter connected directly into each telephone socket in use, ensuring that nothing is before the filter?
      Is the router connected to the master socket or an extension socket?
      Are you using the short grey dsl cable that Sky provided, or running an extension telephone cable to the router?
      Do you have Sky tv connected to any telephone sockets?

      1. there are 2 sockets in house
      2. nothing attached before microfilter, and microfilter is in both sockets
      3. yes, using the master socket
      4. no, i been using an extention for over 4months now
      5. sky tv is not connected to telephone sockets

      Remove the extension DSL cable and use the Sky one and see what happens

      i took out the telephone line and unscrewed the socket and stuck it in the port inside the socket and it seems to work fine now

      That would indicate an internal wiring issue. You're better off buying a filtered faceplate and do away with filters altogether
