    lost download speed

      lost download speed

      my download speed has gone from 5.4megabytes to 0.8megabytes, can anyone tell me why this is. I've heard that providers can limit your speed and usage and want to know anyone else is suffering with this. It is quite annoying especially as my broadband is for online gaming. Thanks in advance

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream Connection Speed 988 kbps 648 kbps Line Attenuation 34.5 db 19.7 db Noise Margin 24.3 db 7.0 db

      Something has happened which has caused your speed to be lowered, maybe a temporary fault on the line. You must call Sky and ask them to configure your line. You should have something around 10-11Mb. If they say you are getting as much as you can, don't argue, just hang up and call back, hope you get someone who will help.
