      FOSCAM Camera

Not sure if this is the correct forum for this question, if not please forgive.

I am trying to get my Foscam setup to view remotly from an app on my phone. I have it set up to work wireless on my network, but cannot get it set up to view remotely.

I understand that I need a Dynamic DNS, and to forward my ports, however when I attempt to log on to my Sky router(D-Link), I cannot get the logon and password correct. I don't recall being give a logon and password when I started with Sky. I have tried the usual admin and sky, admin and 1234 etc....nothing.

Also, I am bridging my Sky router with a N' Netgear Router.

      Where am I doing wrong?

I appreciate any help y'all can provide.

      Thanks,

      Scott

      Re: FOSCAM Camera

Check if any CD supplied with the camera gives a suitable link. I bought an IP Camera recently and the camera had it's own dynamic IP address settings.

Although it isn't a Foscam Camera, everything should otherwise be much the same. You will need to include the port number (i.e. 81) as well.

If there was no CD supplied, check the manufacturer's website for something.

I also found that 'IP Cam Viewer Lite' on the Android market works well, but I have to put in the actual IP address, rather than the DynDNS address. However the browser works reasonably fine and does allow the DynDNS address.

      Re: FOSCAM Camera

Is your camera connecting to the Sky router or your Netgear? This may be the problem. How are you connecting the second router to the Sky one, you may have a double firewall problem.
