      this should be about my final speed i think once its finished
      notice im on easy net too ant not the skys MER connection.
      The attenuation always goes up when you move to ADSL2+, as you are using more of the available frequency.

      You may get a bit more speed, it depends on if your noise margin holds upover the 24 hour period.

      Not all SVBN are on MER, some are still on PPPoA. The only way to tell is to do a tracert, if the second hop it to 'isp.sky.com. you are on the Sky network. If it is your local exchange, then 'easynet', you are on the old network.

      I would say you would be better off on G.DMT, but let DLM complete and see what you end up with.

      been a while since i last hadsky its over a year now

      can they lower the target SNR? im happy to have an unstable connection LOL

      They will not/cannot lower it below 7db. The only way you can do it is to use your own router which supports tweaking the noise margin. Even then you have to talk them into raising the cap to be able to do anything with it.

      DLM going the wrong way

      ill ring them once they finished and tell them to set it at 5500 d and 670 up then i can plug my old netgear in and away i go LOL
