      Could it be this.

Just checking through my Outlook to try and figure out why i cant sent or get email. I notice that i still have Norton anti Virus setting in my mail boxes (i had removed my Norton stuff and installed the Mcafee stuff that came with my software). Could these old bits of a passed programme be hampering my setup ?

Norton is notorious for being real hard to uninstall and can causes a lot of problems, McAfee can make them even worse and there have been a lot of post on here where people have installed it and the uninstalled it even faster.

Its better to stick with what you know and understand.

Notice you fixed your duff link Ray. With the exception of Winfax and Ghost, this is the best piece of software Symantec have produced (just hope McAfee follow suit)!
