    Connected? No router

    This is a discussion on Connected? No router within the Sky Broadband help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; Im unsure if im connected to skyconnect or not. I'm guessing i am as i cannot log on to tesco ...

      Connected? No router

      Im unsure if im connected to skyconnect or not. I'm guessing i am as i cannot log on to tesco which was my old isp. Therefore i must have been migrated. The thing that makes me unsure if im connected or not hto is that i stilll havent recieved a second letter. If i am connected i still have no router which is really annoying . I tried putting my sky username and password into my speedtouch router but no joy.

      The Username and password I presume came from a letter sent by sky ?

      if so that is not your username or password for the router as it's locked into the Netgear router when you get it.

      Go and have a look at the BT checker and see what it says

      Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

      "We can't find your order details." does this mean my order has been completed then? Im hoping it does lol

      I am not really sure what that would mean as its normal for even older orders to still be available on there for a few weeks, just had a look at mine and there is one from June.

      rang them up and it appears im connected. Wh it doesnt say on the website i dont know. Just have to wait for my router and secon letter now tho

      @ alyt

      I had the very same problem as you first thing on Monday. I went to go on the net only to find I had no connection at all. A phone call to Sky after I got home from work revealed that I had been connected at 4 in the morning however, like you I had no letter advising me of this (although I was aware via the BT tracker) or more importantly no router.

      Both the letter and the router turned up two days later on the Wednesday so hopefully yours will show up in the next few days.
