I thought I'd sorted all this stuff out, but alas. After having a stable connection for 5 days (1.6-8mb down + 7db noise margin) my connection has plummeted down the last two days. There's been no change in weather. I had a decent connection over the weekend, so how can I blame it on peek times? I've done everything suggested (router next to socket, new microfilter fitted by BT themselves after they came out to sort the problem), I just don't know what else to do

The only thing I can think of is that maybe my routers firmware is out of date? Or maybe I have a faulty microfilter... Oh, and I've tried unplugging my cordless phones, the speed remains the same.

Please help!
