      Ladies/Gents, place your bets!

      Hi all - after 3wks of no broadband (Sky having cut off my previous ISP) I am having one of their installers come to install my router and connect my service today! Woo Hoo!

      Now, what are the chances of a) the installer having the equipment with him b) him being able to set it up and c) the connection, speed, email etc all working correctly??!!!!

      I shall let you all know - I assume that most people did their installations themselves so it'll be interesting to see if the installers have a higher success rate.

      Hi Matt

      If the engineer brings with him a magic wand then i think you have a slight chance of getting connected as per their spec.

      Serioulsy tho M8 i hope you do get connected as this is a total nightmare for anyone involved

      Good luck...

      I'll match your bet and raise you!

      Today I'm due to be activated. This is now my 5th supposed date after originally being due on 30th August.

      Let's hope we're both winners eh?!!

      @tuffjam

      Why have they taken so many attempts? Or is this you activation date (as opposed to installation date) that they have just kept delay as per all the other posts?

      I do know from the BT tracker that my line changeover has been completed but still dont have that much faith!!
