      Unfortunately it appears that Sky are aware that there are still some issues in the Halifax area. Take a look at this section of the forum:

      Sky Broadband Service Status

      The most recent notification was posted at 16:30 today.

      Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps
      Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
      Speedtest: 17.15MB/s 0.97Mb/s Ping 31 ms

      Having similar problems with certain websites (i.e. Hotmail) over the last couple of days, Durham area. All websites that do load are taking a while to do so, apart from BBC!

      How do I find out if Sky are looking into solving this problem?

      You could look on their website or you could give them a call.

      Since writing on here a short while ago switched everything off and back on and hey presto it is working again. Not sure for how long though.

      Did a speed check and got this

      Im in Enfield and your links do not work for me. I also cannot get on tz-uk.com, hotmail, netgear website and facebook times out or doesn't load pics. there are loads of other sites that are also not working for me. been like this for 3 days now. Getting a little frustrated!!

      Having the same issue here for the past 3 days and just stumbled across this thread -
      For me, some sites work (bbc.co.uk, google), others don't (help.trainline.com etc). Yahoo mail and facebook are very temperamental, working sometimes but not always.
      I had one of my laptops setup to use OpenDNS routing but that now doesn't work at all, and I have had to switch back to automatic DNS.

      Speedtest.net works, but the ping test fails with a timeout!

      What's going on here?!

      Was talking to a customer earlier in Enfield getting the same issue. Not sure whether ops are aware of the issue yet, can only assume they are.

      I hope they are aware of it as I have to be honest in saying I have not reported the problem my self. Talking to customer service usually winds me up. Resetting the router or Internet explorer is obviously not the problem here.

      Is day 4 of problems in Islington area (although little to see on Sky.com about this) - unable to connect to most websites, unable to do any transactions and unable to do the work I need to do to put in our funding bids next week.
      Spoke to Sky : they acknowledge there is a fault in our area. Apparently at the Exchange and something to do with a firewall (but that was as much as they could say). Apparently this is beyond their control but "someone" is working on it. Had a chat about taking responsibility for work commissioned in your name. Explained still seeing people posting about going out buying new routers etc today and information not visible on website. Requested front page update link and some more info as she has not heard anything new since yesterday.
      Not convinced this has been prioritised! I think a few more phone calls coming up until this gets sorted out . . . I gave up once Sarah said there was nothing she could do . ...
